During the last twenty-five years we have conducted over four hundred activities and classes for homeschoolers, and we are continually expanding our services. We started Homeschool Helpers to encourage these Christian families to continue in their good work. We sponsor monthly contra/reel dances in Lebanon, Mo. from October thru March and a formal English Country dance in late May.

Stone County Area Homeschoolers is intended to provide support, mentoring and friendship to homeschool families in the SW Missouri/NW Arkansas area, specifically Stone County and the surrounding areas. Members are encouraged to ask questions, share encouragement, post pics of their activities and post about their days, offer advice and share news or events pertaining to homeschooling. We meet once or twice per month in a casual setting. Occasional field trips or service activities and holiday events are scheduled throughout the year. We are open to secular or Christian homeschool families although the founder is a Christian, as are many of the member families so the group has a Christian flavor. Most of our activities are either free or very inexpensive (just to cover costs).
